Anyone notice that KEH is a bit low on stock recently?

I was perusing the site to see what was out there (I love KEH) and realized that they don't have ANY Contax SLR lenses, only a couple bodies, and their Olympus OM stock (lenses and cameras) is pretty small. Those are just a couple of examples.

Anyone know what's going on?

I was wondering the same thing. They always had a couple pages of Canon fd bodies. They have not one F1 body now.

i find keh.com a huge candie store....you never really know what you're gonna find...

a couple of weeks ago, it was a m7 at m6 prices

i then found a Leicaflex SL2 at SL prices

recently a BGN serenar 35/f2.8 with finder which was $30 more than a one UG without finder.

virtual window shopping for vintage camera collectors...

I noticed that at one point they had literally only one Nikon F3 body available. WTF???

Recently tried to secure a DE-2 viewfinder (non HP) and the two available at B&H were beat. Tried securing a Nikon F3 non HP at Adorama, but I had to return it because I jammed the shutter.

It seems like something big is going on. I know that Nikon built about a million F3's over a 14 year period, and it is likely that perhaps 800,000 of them are still working, but only the dregs remain it seems. What happened?

Dunno if it's got anything to do with anything but I received an email yesterday apologizing and stating they've been having 'server and network' issues.

Stranger things have happened.

I seem to remember not too long ago someone posting here (or maybe APUG?) that they noticed some very good pricing on Contax gear at KEH.
Within a couple of days it was all gone.

The power of the innerweb, eh?

yeah I saw couple of days ago that they had a newer P67 TTL prism, called them and ordered.
Then they called me this morning saying that they actually dont have it anymore.

There are lots of good F3 bodies around. There are at least two very nice ones in the classifieds here on RFF, one of them mine 😀

Noticed OM lenses and bodies in super slim supply. I'm not looking, have just about all I want. I thought the real end of film is when all these older bodies finally wind up in someones sock drawer and get cleaned out for pennies at some estate sale in 10~50 years time.
