In that case, I should be looking at their site and searching ebay by seller (KEH). I assume prices would be similar between sites.

You should get better deals direct, if they have similar items on ebay and on their site...

I have not really looked into the quality of goods on ebay vs keh.com...not sure if the good stuff is on the bay and the avg is on keh.com...or if the reverse is true....thankfully I don't shop for gear much....but fwiw, a few months ago I was shopping for a new camera, and their ebay store had a user condition camera...so with my sample of 1, the item I saw them selling was not "the good stuff".....but I was only looking at one very specific cam model....that's how I found out about their ebay store to begin w......interesting business model.....I would like to know how they decide what goes on the bay vs keh.com.....

On a lark I entered a few items on their buy page and got really low quotes. Why would anyone sell to KEH when Craig's list et al are available?

They're down to just 4 Rollei TLRs... I hope things turn around soon.
I'd consider it, for the safety, reliability, simplicity, and less hassle... thinking of multiple items. But to sell at low prices they have to offer low prices... 🙁

Some people are afraid to sell anonymously. I see it all the time. If you are selling to a camera store, you are throwing away money. Of course there are exceptions, but generally... yes, you are throwing away money when you sell to a store. Selling online is easy and generally problem free.

They have sent out a number of emails about their large digital inventory, including a lot of mfr refurbished items, so I suspect their money is going into digital. How many Rollei TLRs do you think they'll sell in a month? More than four? So why have more than four sitting around? How many D5100's at $400? Ten, fifteen, twenty? It's not hard to see where the inventory money is going.
When they're selling something on eBay I often check if they have a comparable item in stock. Sometimes it's a better deal on the site, sometimes on eBay. Often on eBay they offer free shipping which makes the difference. A lot of their eBay stuff has minor stuff wrong with it that, on the site, would not allow it to reach BGN level by their standards, but on eBay they don't use those ratings and just say, well there's haze behind the rear element and "might make for some interesting effects!" Indeed, such as flare and low contrast.... Their UG prices are so low they're often going to do better on eBay with such items.

I visited Keh looking at a Mamiya shift lens several times in the past month or so. I was waiting to sell one of my VW's to cover the expense. When I checked last night, the lens was gone.
After reading this thread, I ventured over to Ebay and looked for Keh. Yep, there is the lens----priced higher than it was at Keh's website earlier.

All those F3s are on Craigslist for $900 each. I am constantly amazed how much people ask for high-quality film SLRs and old zoom lenses on CL.
But seriously, I guess those F3s are in closets, drawers, and cardboard boxes in basements and attics. I wonder how many have functional LCDs by now after sitting in an attic for ten years.

Selling to a camera store is hassle free. Give them your camera and they will hand you cash.
Online is not the easiest. How many flakes and lowballers have you gotten from craigslist and ebay? Oops, the post office lost your package? Now you have to put in a claim.

KEH quality is going down dramatically over the years, in terms of item description and pricing. They just recently increased regular shipping price and insurance(mandatory) with fedex ground and ups ground.

As unexpectedly buying a M Monochrom threw my M-240 budgeting way out of kilter,
I'm just about to send a large pile of Leica, Hasselblad , Olympus and Ricoh gear down to popflash ( RFF sponsor ) SWC,203FE,E-M5,GXR,lenses etc.etc.
The will sell it on a commission basis at 13 to 20%.
Sure I would get more selling myself; I will get more that selling to KEH, so I feel their cost it's a fair compromise and a lot less hassle for me

I am trying to stay away from big ticket items but always on the lookout for accessories, lens caps filters etc. always stayed away from KEH for these small items because shipping was so high but they have instituted a new first class mail policy for U. S. orders.
$3.95 for orders less than 10oz and less than $100 total. Received front and rear caps for my tele-elmarit yesterday and I could not be happier.

Well they did add a large shipment of OM gear... Been hemming and hawing over several lenses the last 5 days or so and now most of the good BGN deals are gone! Guess a person can't mess around when they see a deal....

Well it's now 2015 and KEH is still super low on inventory. It seems ever since the new site launched they don't have much inventory anymore.
