Amazing book.
I found it accidentally - a colleague of mine at work mentioned, that his dad has this book published. So I've had a look. And... It's incredible.
The book spans over 25 years (!) of work; it's a project about WWI veterans. None of them is with us any more, but Keith Collman has managed to portrait them and talk to them about their experiences and the influence it had over their lives. What stands out are two things: first, incredible, deep understanding of the subject and also flawless technique and consistency in the making. Worth seeing!
Absolutely fantastic portrait work; I guess I could even call it a documentary, as it's not only photographs - but you can see for yourself. And the book is very well made, printed and presented.
I strongly recommend everyone who is into humanistic photography to have a look. It's hard not to cry after you will browse it.
Well done, Mr. Collman.
