Ha! You should read some of the 'other' forums that don't relate directly to Leica on RRF. They are often a perfect mirror to what KR is saying (even if overblown and sarcastic) when a 'Leicaman' responds concerning other peoples 'inferior' camera systems and equipment. If you can't see it you aren't getting out much, which is also implied by KR.

I think it is just a case of having pretty much everything from nikon and canon reviewed and re-reviewed, and he needed something to keep people coming in. he also basically managed to make the half of the internet that thought he was a troll think he is right, and the half that thought he was right think he is a troll. either way, it brings in the visitors, which brings in the people buying from his adorama links.

No, he is perfectly sane. He is just making money on the M9 hype. In his particular way. He must be laughing about threads like these, if he cares at all.

Ken is a man of enthusiasms, that's for sure. And sometimes those enthusiasms are a bit too - well enthusiastic. But don't knock him. I think that has become a bit too much like a kind of national sport that bullies play. Over at PhotoNet the forum will not even let you link directly to his site - the software blocks you. I think that is over the top and in fact repressive of freedom of speech. Don't get me wrong I am no apologist for KR - he says some things that I definitely disagree with so he must be taken with a large grain of salt sometimes. I just do not like the way people seem to make a mark of him. It does not appeal to the Aussie idea of being a good sport.
