Kentmere 400 ISO Experience

For high speed film I am using Rollei RPX-400 in RPX-D, a system developer made by SPUR for Rollei. E.I. 400 - E.I. 1600 without any problem. On the other hand a more expensive type developer.

Hi folks, I'll be picking up a few rolls of this to put through my Leica and my Bessa and possibly an old Nikon. Soon as I get some results, I'll post my impression of the film with some samples. All the best. Gels

I like Kentmere 400. A few examples in HC-110 (dilution E on the third, I've forgotten the dilution on the other ones). I think the grain is pleasant.

I´ve tried about ten rolls. I was actually surprised, the tones are actually good for such a cheap film. BUT, I had problems with bubbles in the emulsion until i started pre-soaking for a few minutes. Great film for the price, actually like it better @400 then HP5 thats just murky and strange at that iso.
