I just noticed that "kevincameras" and his buying ID "kinche-1" were no longer registered on eBay.
Does anyone know what happened?

It is possible that he withdrew rather than was "kicked off."

I have no inside knowledge, but I'm sure he was spending a small fortune every month on listings - and eBay and PayPal are taking an ever bigger piece of every transaction. Just a business decision?

I didn't mean to sound curt.
I haven't researched his past sales, but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't selling a whole lot via eBay. Most of his stuff, and most of his pricing, are such that eBay just isn't going to be a productive sales venue, I would think? His main business model is nice stuff that's hard to find, at a premium price...not really the eBay model. (I've had good dealings with Kevin, so none of that is any kind of swipe.)

I've bought a few Canon FD rarities from Kevin as well, maybe one from eBay and one directly. They aren't particularly less expensive on eBay, and I could have found them through Google just as easily on his website.

I always found his prices to be too high. Also, I've noticed that he sometimes raised the price on an item which had been in his inventory for months without selling. Seemed to be an odd marketing strategy.

I think he is still around on eBay. He is buying under a new name is all.
