Kicked off USairways for snapping picture

Yes, interesting story, but it's actually not about harassing photographers.
I think it is about one US Airways employee having a very bad day (or always having a bad day, I can't tell) thinking up *any* sort of excuse to get back at a passenger for criticizing her...

Just my 2 Eurocents... 😀

We've only been given one side of the story, but none the less it does seem to be a case of abuse of power.

Well, without hearing the other side of the story it is not possible to say for sure, but you are correct that so far it sounds that way. I would think it unusual for a ticket agent to take such actions without being accompanied or augmented by security.

I notice this isn't the first time the photographer has been in trouble for taking photos. If the photographer is making a career of confronting people she may have less of a leg to stand on. Who knows at this point? But so far it sounds like US Airways may be a good airline to avoid.

There's catch here. If a comapny is to be hated by a lot of people, it has to have a lot of people use or in some other way be subject to its services. So being top of the list is not necessarily unequivocally a bad thing. Last time I checked Delta were still the next biggest airline in the world. US Airways however.....

Put a beard & turban on her and she could be Osama risen from the dead! Good call US Air.

Thank goodness I'm flying on Southwest Airlines in a week and a half. And on Singapore Airlines this fall.

Kudos to Southwest for allowing that woman to fly home on their airline!

Wow Delta is #2 and USair is #19 on the most hated list. Unfortunately they are the only two airlines flying out of my city.

No wonder I've given up on flying except in extreme emergencies.
