Not personally but my friend did launch a titanium pen that raised about 60k or so.
He said he would not do it again because of the way Amazon kept raising the percentage they took since he did not have a history with them.
When it was all said and done and he had shipped the product he almost broke even.

The kickstarters I've backed that have delivered are, so far, all book-based kickstarters. The books I got were high quality and as described. I'm eagerly awaiting my travelwide to ship, so I can give feedback on that once I have it in hand.
