Saw this on the Large Format Forum, looked useful enough to me for me to pledge support. I have no other connection with the project or people involved just thought it would be of interest to people here:

Apologies if this is not allowed, just thought a useful tool.

I'd be interested in hearing more about what sort of information to collate in the field, and why.

Sorry but get a moleskin in a format that suits your needs either ruled or squared and a pen.
If you are to stupid to organize your notes in a meaningful way you might also be too stupid to use a film camera do you own development of film and prints. ... rant mode off.

Nice and elegant work.
Good luck.
Can you present us which shooting info you feel we may write down?

I am thinking of.
Film name
ISO
Dates
Subject
Some notes

And for each frame
Frame #
Theme
Date
f stop
Speed
Light conditions
Some notes

What does your notes suggest?

Although im a kickstart junky, this is one of those less than spectacular projects.
As you might have spotted, they probably won't make it to their funding goals in 3 week's.

I've actually only met a handful of photogs who would use this.
Even then, ide consider this a glorified learning tool/strategy.

When I was a wee lad, I marked every exposure in a small journal (5 for 1$)
I did not own a light meter, and it helped me get an eye for ambient light.
A big part of learning this information, has to do with how you organize it and the process of making this system personal. Although place holders are convenient, I see no merit in the premium over a 20cent notebook. So I do have to agree with icebear, it's a glamourous solution for a insignificant problem.

Don't get me wrong,
Put your name on it, if it sells, you've got us fooled.
