Slow learner,but keen!
I've just bought a really nice Kiev 4,Type 2,and although I have used one in the past,My memory doesn't serve me too well as regards the film counter.I can't recall whether the film counter automatically registers when the film is wound on,or if it needs to be moved on manually after each frame.
This particular camera is in the latter category and needs to be moved on manually, although everything alse is in great order, with the exception of the delayed action setting which fails to trip the shutter at the end of it's travel.I shall never expect to use this however, and so it's not a matter of real concern .
Just as a matter of interest I bought the camera with it's J8M here in the UK from an ebay seller who verifiably purched it from Ivor Mantanle's collection, and it promises to fulfil all that I hope to have from a smooth and useable Kiev.🙂
Thanks for any advice,
Brian.
