This is a video, but basically the take-up fork is not turning when I turn the advance knob. If I turn the advance sprockets manually the fork and the advance knob both turn as I suppose they should. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!

Could it be that the switch at the base of the camera is stuck?

i've been looking at this and I'm starting to consider trying to open it up myself. but I believe that the switch at the bottom of the camera is as it should be.

Could it be that the screw in the film advance sprocket spindle is loose or missing? (third picture from the top)

The screw is still there. Hmmmm maybe it's time to go buy some tools.
