Well, it turns out the front corrector didn't do the trick, so I'll need to disassemble almost the whole camera to just adjust the RF! I don't have to precision tools to do that yet, but I'd like to do it given the right tools. Where do you guys order such tools like small screwdrivers, spanner tools, etc.? And what do I need? I have screw sizes from 1.4 mm to 3.00 mm but their tips are thick, but the screws on FSU cams have such narrow grooves that I don't want to take the chance and damage them.
Thanks
It's not unexpected that the front corrector won't cover the errors, from what you described. You'll have to remove the main prism (the one that's almost the width of the camera) to get at the main adjusters. It's a case of remove prism, guess at an adjustment, re-fit prism to see if any good & repeat until correct. Tedious and you need to treat the prism with great care. Buy a decent set of jewellers screwdrivers for the screws, they're a good investment if you're likely to work on these bodies again and saves a lot of hassle improvising. You can pick up a "cheapie" set for very little but don't expect them to be good quality or last long.
