Kiev II

Hi guys,

Just received my kiev II. Everything is in good shape, but however the advance knob is so stiff.
It gets even stiffer when i load in a roll of film.
Why is that so? Are all Kievs like this?

Not a big problem. There is a screw at the base of take-up fork that can be loosened an 1/8th of a turn and then sparingly add a mini-droplet of syntheitc gun oil. I use Tri-flow, but check your local gun shop to see what they have on the shelf.
