Kiev Konsumes Contax

More funds allowed a genuine Contax II , rather than my bitsa ... but I deecided to extend my Kiev kollection instead ... to include a copy of a 1947 script Kiev in nickel plate ... much more wicked ... and just as fun to use !

Probably charcoal grey leather ... all as new . Donor may even be one of my 1951 Kiev IIs ... a rough , cheap one !

Most want a copy Contax , based on a Kiev 4a or K 4 - me ? I prefer an original Kiev Kopy .

Are you saying you are getting rid of the 1951 Kiev in favor of the 1947 one or that you are going to do some kind of surgery on the '51?

I won't touch the 1951s - even the poorer of them - I have decided to put a new 1947-type name plate on a 1955 Kiev IIa and then nickel plate .
I may have a KNeB plate done at the same time - so it can be changed at a later date - maybe ... Contax ... which would be even more kontroversial !!
[ a blue paint Kiev II '' KIeV '' is on the way too .]
