Very nice, this is far more classy than the L@@K, Contax copy ad on the auction site.
It really is sad to see what was once a top of the range photogrphic instrument in the old days to go for a pittance.
Who would have thought LOMO LC-A will now trade for 3 time the price of a Kiev!!

I agree these are much classier than the images in my manual that I have for the FED 2. Many do sell for a pittance, but the older Kiev II and III seem to have gone up in price for US buyers.

Pittance is OK. It means I can afford to buy them and use them ... and take a shot at repairing ones that have gone bad.Hamster said:It really is sad to see what was once a top of the range photogrphic instrument in the old days to go for a pittance.

Sure, if you like older women, she would be in her 50's to early 60's now

I see that the 1950's model has more of a holsom look to her versus the very chic 1960's.

Donald, I've found approx. 20 USSR camera ads, but only 1/4 of them regards the RF cameras and much more less ads (on the whole) include the image of woman. These uploaded pictures are the best.
If you're interested I'll post here another interesting ads of non-RF cameras.

I just surfed the Internet, h-m-m... actually I mean that part of Internet, which is called Runet (the part where 100% of websites are in Russian)

You mean the one's with that Marcel Marceu looking character? Did it strike you as odd that a camera manual coming from The Workers Paradise would include such a French looking drawn charater?
Someone needs to start a website for these old FSU RF ads. They're really neat!

Yep, I see that you have the same user manual for the FED 2.
It even shows young Marcel getting ready to develop a roll of film with a daylight developing tank and wind-up alarm clock.
