Kim Komenich photographer/crime fighter

Very neat post, thanks. I remember back in the 80's when I went to help the hurt at an incident while I was shooting pictures at a ticker tape parade in NYC. A friend who shot news said that I missed my try at a Pulitzer and made a mistake as there were plenty of first responders there. Not as quickly as I was but twenty minutes later there were.

Life goes on but I still think I did the right thing. I was taking a few hours off from my real job of making computers do magic so I did not get in trouble with anyone.

What Komenich did was not necessary smart, unless of course, like him, you are several inches taller, more than few pounds heavier and quite a bit stronger than the crook. At my height, a better bet might have been to bop the critter on the head with a heavy camera.

Nevertheless, three cheers for the hero photographer in this story, but lucky for him the intrepid robber didn't have a weapon. Otherwise, the ending might not be one for pats on the back and congratulations.

If you are going to be dumb, you had better be lucky. As the police point out in the story, the other members could have shot him if they had been more professional and armed.

To die for only the bank's money would be sad...:bang::angel:
