The plastic lid on my generic stainless steel tank is leaking. I know Kinderman tanks are supposed to be the best. Can I just replace the cheap lid with a Kinderman lid or are the Kinderman tanks special?

The Kindermann lids fit all of my tanks (one-, two-, and four-reel), including Nikor, generic modern stainless with a slightly flared lip, and Omega. On some tanks the lids are a bit snug, but they are flexible and will squish on, even fitting all the way down on my Nikor tanks. They are great lids and they fill and pour super fast.

Usually, yes. but obviously tanks vary in diameter. For me, yes on one, just about on one (tight), no on a third (too big).
