I have a 'new' Klasse S - first roll through was smooth, and really happy with the results. After the 3rd shot on the second roll however, it started blinking the self-timer in the LCD, and the camera does nothing... from the manual this means 'it's dead and needs a trip to Fuji'.

Just wondering if Fuji still do anything with these? I assume it will have to go to Japan? Any DIY magic fixes?

Paid $500 for the camera so really hoping to get this going again.

Thanks heaps.

I'd try a new battery before anything else. If that doesn't solve the problem, Fujifilm still fixes these (the list of 35mm film cameras they still repair is here). But you'll have to send it to Japan.

Just wanted to post a follow-up. I finally just sent to Fuji Japan with my fingers crossed :) They fixed it (no charge) and returned the camera in a week. Just brilliant service. Although Fuji Australia couldn't fix it, they were also extremely helpful and tried their best. I am amazed at the quality of personalised service from a big company. Really happy with Fuji!
