It's a few, but you can configure the camera to default the flash to keep it's setting after being turned off/on. For me, this was a great improvement.

How does these Fuji Klasse W/S cameras compare to Contax T3 or Ricoh GR1 (-/s/v) from the user point of view? I still hesitate to pay what these cameras are worth, but I am slowly getting there (I had Olympus XA and now Konica Auto S3)

Follow up question: how many button presses does it take to navigate the menus and turn off the flash?
The flash is the first item on the menu, so one click on the button and turn the selector wheel and you're selecting flash modes. There is, as already written a setting for the camera to remember your flash settings after turning it off.
As for the cameras weatherproofing, I don't know to be quite honest... I've shot it in snow and carried it around in snow, but it was light snow, and hardly a snowstorm. I've used the camera in temperatures as low as -24 centigrade and it handled itself well, as long as I kept it warm, otherwise the batteries "froze" quite quickly, but that is to be expected. So it can definitely handle a bit of weather, just keep it protected inside a coat pocket when you're not shooting and all should be fine.
The Klasse is an awesome camera, you won't regret buying it.

I picked up an original Klasse last week and have shot two rolls. I am simply blown away. I am now considering selling my Yashica GX and Konica FD (Auto-S3) and Canon QL17 GIII. I think it is simply that good.
I am looking for Klasse W now! I think I am may start collecting compact AF Point-n-Shoots. This Klasse has peaked my interest in Minolta TC-1, Ricoh GRs, Nikon Tis. UgH!
My results.

Good stuff. I especially like the first two B&W shots.

Well I got a Klasse W. I shot a roll in a day to test the shutter and meter. It is going to take some getting use to. A constant 28mm is just so unusual for me. Experimentation! Nothing spectacular, but I am happy about the results. It should be an interesting learning curve.

just a question - how quiet is this camera in operation - does the shutter and film advance make much noise? I've been browsing this thread and the fujinon IQ is impressive. My wife's Nikon TW2 has died and I was thinking of replacing it with this camera.
appreciate any comments,

I dunno. I have three cameras that are auto film advance, and they all seem loud to me because they are next to my face when it happens. But nobody has ever turned around and looked at me because of the noise with any of them.

In relation to a Leica M mount camera or a Yashica GX or a Canon QL 17 GIII it is loud. But in relation to other modern point and shoot cameras is quiet. I took some candid photos yesterday of people who were unaware and they did not turn around or bat and eye when I fired the shutter.
I hope that helps.

I'd be curious about this as well. How is the Klasse W's responsiveness (focus speed, shutter lag, etc)?
Has anyone used both Klasse W and Ricoh gr (1, s or v) to compare ease of use? I'm interested to hear from those who have used both.

Maiku, great pictures. Definitely liking the constrast and color saturation. How do you feel the camera responds in terms of AF speed and shutter lag (or lack thereof)?

v roma,
I think AF is fine. It is faster and more responsive than the Contax G1 I used. I have not has a missed focused photo yet. It is noisy because it 10cm or less from my ear! Shutter lag is obvious, but is faster than using a manual film advance.
