so I found a can of Kodachrome 64 in my freezer a while back... it expired in '89, before I was born.

oh well.

it's finished now, but I'm not quite sure what to do with it still. I have the little envelope for the free development, but that place doesn't exist anymore. I gotta ship it to Arizona (I have the address), but what do I do? scribble that over the old address and chuck it in the mailbox? do I need stamps or something?

cheers,
Dragunov

It has to go to Dwaynes of course. Ring their customer line and ask, then maybe put the old mailer inside a new envelope with the new address, in case Kodak complain about the old one being defaced (assuming it is still valid). Otherwise, there is a slightly cheaper price via Walmart apparently !

(This is written as someone who lives elsewhere but read some threads here, so take it all with a pinch of salt).

dwaynes still honors the mailers. i spoke to them a few months ago and was told that they are under no obligation to honor them, but for as long as kodak pays them for the number of mailers they process, they will continue to do it. if things change, they told me we would have to mail the mailers to kodak directly at a texas address and they would forward them to dwaynes.

last year they told me they would accept mailers through 2009, but this time they said there was no known date for ending the service.

good luck.
