Kodachrome in Mexico

I live in Mexico most of the year, and have had a serious craving for Kodachrome. However, I'm not sure if I can get it developed down there. I live in Xalapa, Veracruz but am in Mexico City frequently as well. Does anyone out here know of a place who still does kodachrome in Mexico? I suppose I could mail the film into Dwaynes, but because the mail here is unreliable and slow, I'd probably have to use fedex, and at the end of the day it just wouldn't be worth it, and I could save my film months until I come back to the states for a while. Also, what's the difference in quality between the kodachrom 64 regular and the professional?

If I were you, I would go the extra mile, yes I know there is a cost involved, but I would go ahead and shoot Kodachrome 64. Your slides will last a lifetime!
If you are not sure on the mail, send them back via FedEX. Ya it is a pain, but in your future years you will have some super awesome Kodachrome 64 to show off to your friends and family! Just do it! You will be one of less than a few who are in Mexico who shoot K64. How cool is that! 😀
Think about the final product, not anything before that!

I've gone thru a few trials shooting K64/K200 and will continue to shoot it. These days I save up 10 rolls before sending it to Dwaynes. I also shoot Porta 160NC and occasionally HP-5.

Kodachrome can be a hassel for scanning. Just the same I love the color and it's consistency - nothing like it - Velvia comes pretty close. K64 is classic, just like my Rolex and my MP. Classic isn't always easy, but in the end worth the extra effort IMO.
