Just came across this:

I missed issue #1..... has anyone gotten either issue? It appears to be a good buy, but what do you think, for the coffee table?

Looks like a more expensive version of LFI or Victor magazine (without the camera puff pieces). I'm sure it has high quality production values but I personally can't generate any enthusiasm to spend £20 reading articles about, for example, "striking a connection with matchbox artists across the globe". It looks like the kind of freebie magazine that I might pick up at a trade show and flick through for 5 minutes before putting it in the recycling bin.

As a novelty, like the LFI magazine subscriotion I once had, it would be nice to have one for my little Leica Cave coffee table. Especially after I find a boomerang coffee table at a reasonable price!
I might enjoy a single issue for display only... or maybe a birthday gift for a friend?
The Victor mag is expensive too... just wondering if anyone on the forum has a Kodachrome magazine.

I didn't know it exist ! Maybe try a number just to see it.
Sometimes there can be something interesting (to me) as it's now with LFI which I only buy occasionally.

Hmmm, "Put on Your Red Dress"
Hmmm, not for me then but it did remind me of the exhibition years ago about landscape photography called "The Man in the Red Sweater" and the joke that one photographer carried a red sweater and usually persuaded someone to walk into the frame wearing it; in the distance, of course...
And how can you appreciate slides in a printed magazine?

Sadly, the only true way is to project slides on a screen!
Sigh... I miss Kodachrome.

Actually I favored Agfachrome way more for its more balanced color in the 1960's and very early 70's.

I have the first issue, and was disappointed. The articles seemed very lightweight aimed at non photographers. The standard why film is so great stuff IIRC. And the rest seem to be very lifestyle oriented.
I'm not sure if I even finished reading the thing!
But yeah, I got it just to have on a table at the gallery. I think one issue is enough for me.
p.s. has anyone else noticed that the only film Kodak sells at it's online store is motion picture stock in big reels? No 35mm or 120 rolls.

Yes, they are a bit out of touch with the community. The cover sure makes a good coffee table book though...

I bought one for a friend in the UK, the first issue was not available to be shipped there. I was, to say the least, unimpressed with it.
