Kodak Junior Six 16 Series II

I know this is a 616 camera but with adapters 120 can be used. My plan was to gut the camera and create a 6x12 P&S with a Fujinon 65mm f/8 lens. I was hoping to at least shoot a roll through the camera before I gutted it but the bellows are way gone--look great but have way too many pin holes.

I'm wondering if maybe I should keep it as is and get the bellows replaced. The lens is a Kodak Anastigmat 126mm f/6.3. A little hazy but maybe I can clean it if it's a good lens. Shooting f/16 with Ektar 100. If the lens is crap I'll proceed with the original plan.

I'm not sure how far gone the bellows are but black nail polish or liquid electric tape (LET) is a great and inexpensive way to fill in the holes. For that matter you could just apply a light coat of LET to the entire bellows, although it may not collapse properly into the camera ever again. Second that you can place an opaque plastic bag, like the ones found in a box of photo paper around the bellows and tape in place with electric tape just to test the lens.

Lenses from that class of cameras are good but not great as they were designed for direct printing rather than enlargements. Clean, stopped down and on a tripod you may be pleasantly surprised.

Bellows were replaced by Sandeha Lynch. Camera shoots very well. Nice lens too.

I use a 616 spool to pull the film. I leave the 120 film as is and use two US quarters as spacers to keep the spool from moving back and forth. The film pulls just fine. The resulting image is near 12x6.
