"The Associated Press reports that the U.S. Trustee filed an objection with the court challenging the legality of hefty cash and stock bonuses that Kodak executives are expected to receive when the company exits from bankruptcy protection."

There is much talk of "skin in the game" in some circles. Poor people who don't pay income tax also don't have "skin in the game". It's a moral thing. They need to pay!

Curiously, this doesn't apply to the people who actually run the 'game', and hold the lives of employees and pensioners in their hands. This is of course a decades-old story, this is just a sad little footnote.

kodak's film is being handled by a splinter company, not Kodak proper anymore.

Never say never. I just received my Freestyle Photographic Supplies catalog. They are selling Tintype Parlor kits with sensitized metal plates (to make Tintypes) that can be cut to fit inside "any" camera. Why buy 127-size film when some of this Tintype stuff will fit real well into a whole host of cameras? Kodak had its day in the sun. Time to move on.

Whew, we never have to talk about Kodak again, they are all finished with film for still photography.

There are a lot of companies all over the world that make such equipment. What makes Kodak think they can make money at that?

I guess you can still order Eastman 5222, 35mm Double-X in 400 or 1000 foot length direct from them. the ph.# 1-800-621-3456

Don't know how much they charge, can't seem to find a price on the Kodak site. Not TX but some people like it.

I use their 16mm Double-X single perf in Minolta 16 cameras. Last time I bought 100 ft. it was $32 shipped and that was about 2 years ago.

This is the bit that annoys me ^ 🙁 ... I don't care less about their film because other companies are manufacturing all we need at the moment.
