It took me many rolls of film to arrive at a workflow that results in good negs with no water marks, and that involves a final rinse with Photo-Flo. Now I find I can't buy any locally, and one of the on-line sellers will only supply if I order six bottles! (They don't hold stock.)

Does anyone in Oz know of a shop that has stock? Or alternately, would anyone like to to share in the purchase of a few bottles? It would work out to about $6 plus postage per bottle.

Vanbar says they have some in stock. PM me if you can't find any - I am pretty sure I know where I can find some.

Chris,

I don't know how much you churn through, but I bought the Ilford wetting agent (a Litre) for about $25AUD. It may be costly, but at 3mL for every 2 rolls of film, this thing will last me a while.

Hi Marty - Yep, Vanbar probably has some but they charge minimum $18 post and handling - for a $6 item! Will get back to you if I can't track some down. I've emailed another seller on the web and will see what they say.

The Ilford might be worth a try, but once again neither of the last two local shops that carries developing gear have stock, although one does have the Ilford rinse-aid (hypo-clearing agent).

Maybe I need to buy the six bottles to give me a 20-year supply!

I have been stocking chems and enlarging bulbs for years in anticipation. Order the 6 bottles.

Common carriers will not take liquids from individuals or I would ship some to you.

Hi Chris, PM me and I'll post you a bottle - I accidently purchased 2 bottles / lifetimes of this fine product a couple of months ago (late night Vanbar order - too much red wine). Been wondering what I would do with 2 bottles - now I know!

Cheers,

Tyrone in South Oz

Hi Tyrone - Oops! I've managed to source some myself, and also have two bottles on the way. I'm starting to think that Ronald has the right idea. Thanks for the offer. :)
