What’s the shelf life of unopened Kodak rapid fixer?
My local shop discounted all of theirs to $4.99 since they said it's expired. The manufacture dates are all late 2016 or early 2017. I figured it’s totally fine and stocked up.

The fixer that comes as two bottles of liquid? Thiosulfates break down into sulfur over time and it might need filtering and checking the clearing time, but probably not after this short a time. It should be good for quite a while, particularly if well stored.

I'd buy all I could at that price. It's probably just fine. If in doubt, do a clip test after you mix it up.

About what I thought. I always test with the cut off leader anyway.
