John Lee
I have a Kodak Retina IIa with stiff focusing.
I learned that I have to remove the lens/shtter, which is held in place by a retaining ring, from the body to clean/relube the focus helcal from Chris's page (http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~Srawhiti/retinafocusmechanism.html).
The pics there must be of Retina Ia as lifting the inner retaining ring does not remove the rear lens group (pic 2).
Instead it just removes the rear element leaving the housing intact, which leaves no room for my wrench.
I tried to turn the ring with two screw drivers to no avail.
So my question is how can I remove the lens from the Retina IIa?
Does it require a special tool?
Thanks in advance.
