I am just curious if Efke and Foma have the capacity to fill out the void if Kodak will be gone. They seems to be at the limits now. We can expect a drastic growth of prices and with high premium for it young people will be not interested in trying film, the sales will drop, Ilford will joint Kodak first, and soon after the rest of the pack. Only Fujifilm, after dropping this ridiculous "film" from the name will go on with making maybe eco-something else.
If I think about it world may equally ends on 21.12 2012.

And in granularity. Both, yes. Interchangeably, no. They are detectably different in tonality.

Well, high prices don't seem to keep them off iphones and blu-ray discs, nor off vinyl records or used (a.k.a. "vintage") clothing. Why should that be different for film?

If you are young enough you will see. Iphones and blue-ray that things to have, things to talk about. Photography on film is a long term hobby, where one has to put a lot of effort for good results. Give them Iphone, but tell them, they have to write own programs for the thing to work, and Iphones will be as popular as early IBM computers.Well, high prices don't seem to keep them off iphones and blu-ray discs, nor off vinyl records or used (a.k.a.
