Kodak Signet 35 - Mirror Film pressure plate vs Black pressure plate.

I have a newer Signet 35 that came with a Mirrored film pressure plate. I have an older one with a black pressure plate. Im wondering which is better and what difference could it possibly make? Thanks

Super late reply. I have 2 Signets and both have polished plates. I've read that it's not a good idea to have a polished pressure plate because the light coming though the lens reflects back onto the film and creates blooming.
