I went to Koh's Camera Shop In Long Island today. Never been there. I felt as if I was in Leica heaven. Jimmy Koh has tons of Leica equipment, including some ultra valuable and rare pieces. Black M3 from"The List", black paint IIIF half frame, black M3 Summilux, just to scratch the surface. His prices for the regular stuff is very competitive-as good as ebay-and you get to see and touch. I lost count of the Barnacks with self timers and the mint IIIg's! Even though I only ended up spending $15-he couldn't find the lens I came in originally to buy- Jimmy let me "play" with anything in the store. I forgot what it was like to be in a retail camera store. His web site doesn't reflect 1/10 of his inventory-I think he is best reached by phone. He also has tons of Nikon rangefinder, SLR, and a bunch of medium format. It would be nice if he became a sponsor and updated his inventory list more often so we can get first pick. Stu

I got my Contax G1 from Koh's Camera a while ago... and the price was incredible, considering that these cameras were still in production back in 2003. I think the person I dealt with there is no longer working with them. His name was Greg, and he also sold me my first Summicron lens. It came in great shape, with hood and caps. A lovely rigid 'cron it was... :)

Fair or better prices, and unlike some of his colleagues accurate or better descriptions. Great guy, great seller.

I've never seen so much high end equipment under one roof-in a small store no less. He also is into digital-Has the M8 too. Looking behind his counter I could have a field day in his junk pile. Stu

I've purchased from Jimmy for many years and prior to that used him for my Rollei SL66 repairs. His repair service is excellent and very reasonable. Just recently had him do a full CLA on my Hasselblad SWC/M and prior to that my 500CM. Never had a problem and when there was a tough problem with the Rolleis he stuck in there untill he got it fixed. I highly recommend Jimmy.

I bought my Rolleiflex 3.5E from Koh's (via the internet). Great deal, I would like to visit that shop some time.
