Hi Gang,

I love, love, love my Koni Omega. The lenses render images exactly the way I want my images rendered. It is a beautiful, precision tank that has caused me to sell my Mamiya 7.

The only problem is that I just cannot find the 135mm lens. I almost doubt its existence.

Does anyone here in the rangefinder-loving universe know where I might be able to find the Koni-Omega 135mm lens?

I've been looking for about two years, but I've never come across one in the wild.

My Rapid Omega 100 is one of my very favorite rangefinders and I'm making an early New Year's resolution to use it more in 2015!
 
The lenses are just so nice-- I can't even believe how nice. Other than the overall weight and typical rangefinder stuff, I can think of no issues with this perfect camera. Why on earth isn't it more popular???
 
I have a scabby one that looks like it was once used as a boat anchor, but what a good camera. I would expect to see and hear more of them on websites such as this one. The lenses do seem to be rarer than rocking horse ***, I only have the standard 90 (?) but it works well enough. Perhaps the left-handedness puts people off them ?

The Simmons Omega that preceded it, looks fantastic. I'd love one of those.

I'm inclined to say the rapid cocking mechanism on the backs. Photogs using them for press were just slamming the cocking lever out and back in the camera.

I saw a listing on eBay for a NIB or NOS back for a Koni Omega II and there was a feeding frenzy at the end of the auction for that back. Went high.

That was almost 20 years ago, and I have never seen the 135mm lens anywhere, online or otherwise.
 
I don't want to send you guys into paroxysms of invidiousness, but there was a twin version of this for the Koni-Omegaflex that also had an iris on the viewing lens so you could see DOF. I had one, but I got rid of both it and the camera because it weighed something like 12 pounds!

OMG, I think I just got one on the bay. It's not in my hands yet, so I can't be sure- but I think I just scored one cheap. It's a Christmas miracle!
 
Hi folks,

I`m thinning out the herd, so to speak, and I`ve decided to sell off my extensive collection of Koni-Omega gear. I have a complete RO-200 kit, complete with all four lenses, including that elusive 135 mm. Just about everything has been serviced by Mr. Greg Weber, and is in excellent condition. I have lots of K-O accessories....extra 120 and 220 backs, sports finders, cable releases, flash brackets, you name it.
