Koni Rapid Omega 100 Photos

I'm really liking this camera, got for $179 off the 'bay. These shots are
uncropped, using the Super Omegon 3.5/90 lens. Just arrived today is
the Tele-Omegon 4.5/180 that I hope to try very soon.

Portra 400VC:

Expired Provia 100F (Oct 2006)

These are pretty much just test shots, but find the lens to be a decent
performer.

Well, I'm 10 months from 60 and weigh 140lbs, so I guess old(er) and
foolish works, too.😀

The photos look very nice indeed.

I have the Koni-Rapid M with a 90mm 3.5 lens. The lens may have sticky blades from lack of use.

The Koni Omegas are reasonably priced on the 'bay and from what I've
seen of others' work, all four lenses in the line seem to be good.

The Koni camera is a great bargain, but some lenses can be expenisve and hard to find. I sold my 58mm lens with finder years ago.

Love the look on Provia, and the Neopan ones have such tonality as to not draw attention to the fact they are monochrome.

Yes, that's the one I'm after. Had one for $120 off the 'bay but wouldn't
focus beyond 3-4 feet. The Koni guys on flickr say the VF is nice but not
an absolute must if you use the whole VF for comping the shot. I'm wondering
how much is left out of the shot simply using the incamera VF.

OK, I've got to get mine back out -- been messing around with TLRs and folders lately. These pictures are spectacularly good, truly. But you're right, this is not a camera to just "take along and stick in a pocket"!
