Konica af upgrade made it louder?

Hi

I just 'upgraded' my classic black konica hexar af to have all the features (double exposures, one touch shutter speed etc) and I think the silent mode has become louder?

Can anyone shed any light on this or am I going mad? Is there a way to restore he black classic to factory settings?

Never heard of this before.

AFAIK there is no way to 'downgrade' the camera once upgrades are applied.

To keep an emanating panic attack from erupting, try firing it in silent mode several times and also fire off some SLR shots for shutter noise, you'll feel much better! 😛

I must be imagining it. Sounds like focusing is louder. Shutter sounds the same though i think.
