Hi everyone! :) My Konica Auto S2 is a beautiful piece, shutter, aperture and everything works perfect, BUT, the framelines arent consistent. Sometimes they contract when i focus closer but not very often, if i shake the camera a little I can make them move to the correct position. This would NOT be a problem if the framelines where just stuck at infinity so i could just learn where mid or close focus parallax is, but as it is now its really disturbing and makes it hard to get a perfect composition, any tips for fixing them or for just adding something so i can always se the close focus frame lines would be deeply apprecieated.

The other problem is that I read all over the net how incredibly sharp the lens is, well I disagree. My Olympus 35RC with a heavily scratched lens is sharper, I have tested it for about 10 rolls, and I dont think its a focusing problem as I can see perfectly where the plane of focus goes on my b&w prints.
The Konica lens is ok, but not as sharp as I would have thought.. Wide open its actually almost useless. Its acceptable or very good at 2.8, but not razor sharp which I find strange for a Hexanon lens which is supposed to be the holy grail of 35mm lenses.
Am I asking to much?

Thanks!

If Konica lens isn't sharp it's misaligned/broken. If framelines aren't working for me it would be sign camera has been dropped or tinkered with. This is my experience with KAS2 as well - first camera were broken and that just plugs hook deeper in a lip.
