Konica Auto S2

Konica S2 cocking level doent move.
The checking the battery power doesnt work.
Please help me. This is my first rangefinder. I just got this camera.

I'm making a few assumptions here....move the aperture ring off of EE to one of the manual settings and then press the shutter button. If it fires, then the film advance lever should work after that. If it doesn't, it's another can of worms.

Without looking at it, I would guess that the shutter is cocked, but the blades are for whatever reason stuck together. Don't force the film advance lever - nothing good ever comes from that.

How much is the camera worth to you? If it's in great shape otherwise, you may want to look into sending it to Essex Camera or another shop for a CLA.
