Hello, everybody!!!
I bought stated camera today, and everything seems to work, except for the focus indicating gauge. Also, when pressing shutter release, I can see parts moving inside AF windows, focusing I guess, but lens never shows any kind of movement. Is this normal, or lens should be moving in and out?
I have Konica C35 Automatic and really like the lens on it. I was hoping this one would work as AF version of it with built-in flash.

Normally P&S cameras move lens to focus, but I haven't seen C35 AF2 in life so can't comment on this model. Probably lens moves by really small distance, in fact, just turns? I think possibility it focuses by moving rear element - thus not visible from front - is too small to be considered.

The lens of my C35 AF2 is set to the nearest distance while advancing the film and moves inward towards infinity to the correct position while releasing the shutter. This movement is clearly visible (The difference between the 1m and the infinity position is ca. three mm)

Petronius, thanks for picture, I meant I have not operated this particular model so I do not know for sure if and how lens moves when focusing. I read it's first AF compact so it's remarkable, and 38/2.8 lens commonly used on this cameras is great for what it is.

Sam, if you want to have an older Konica AF with flash, look for the Konica AF3. I prefer it over the older AF Konicas for its silent shutter and smaller body and for the fact that it has an active AF instead of the Visitronic system.

Thanks, Petronius. I saw this AF2 in thrift store. I figured it was worth $10. At least I get to keep Konica cap and strap for my C35 Automatic.
But now I looked at the link you provided, and I like what i see. Now I have to figure out whether I need flash unit for C35 or AF3. Hmmm....

Took a test roll with a C35 AF2 today. It was given to me as a gift when I bought an Autoreflex TC body from someone. The image quality is surprisingly good in my opinion. The film is Tri-x @ EI100, developed in Xtol 1+1:
