I finally got a black one.

I've had many, but only one or two blacks. I really like this camera. I use it all the time on vacation.

In order to offset what I paid for this black one, I just listed my C35 Flashmatic in the classifieds. but I'm almost hoping that nobody buys it, they are a little hard to find in the USA.

Well, at least you have an Olympus Trip 35 to keep you happy.

Just picked one of these up (black version) in a thrift store the other day! What are you using for a battery?

Nothing yet in the black one, it hasn't been shipped yet. but I've always had good results using zinc-air hearing aid batteries in the C35's.Just picked one of these up (black version) in a thrift store the other day! What are you using for a battery?

I have the C35 too, and really like it. Fast, easy, light and a really decent lens.

Hearing aid battery with a number nine O-ring to hold it in place.

No need for the O-ring in the C35, the hearing aid battery is the same size as the original PX675 battery was.Hearing aid battery with a number nine O-ring to hold it in place.

You can get #675 Silver Oxides at all the good drug stores, and Radio Shack. I bought a twenty pack for half price during the holidays at Walgreens.

I'm disappointed that I had two C35s on Ebay, one working and the zone focusing C35 not working but with the body in excellent to mint minus condition but no bids. I like the C35s and have had one in my possession since the 70's while living in Japan. I relisted it and again no bids. Strange how these things work. The working standard C35 works just great, meter, self timer, hot shoe, etc. I had it with me in St. Petersburg a year ago and it came back with some great shots. I use the zinc 1.4v battery which works just fine.

Got my hands on it yesterday and it looks very nice. No scratches, dings or dents. Light seals were completely sticky so I replaced them last night.
Getting a zinc/air battery today and will shot a roll of Fuji Superia 400.

38 mm lens is very good - just corners so-so.
