I just received a like new Konica C35V [scale focusing] in its original box, with booklet and original sales slip. Everything is in excellent working order and tomorrow I'll get the test roll developed to see how it's doing.

It'll join my C35 family of an original C35 in great working order and a
C35EF which I had in Siberia with me last month. I'll post some pics ASAP.

That's pretty nice. I have a C35V, well worn but still functional, and enjoy using it quite a bit. The lens seems to be every bit as good as the RF models. Looking forward to your photos.

These are very nice cameras. Well made and compact.

The one negative point about this camera (and the other Konica C35 models) is the amount of light-blocking foam that Konica put onto the back. By now, you'll have to replace that, and it's going to be a gooey mess> or hopefully, it's simply dried out.

But nice catch, and I think that you'll have fun with it.

Your right about the foam. When I received the camera all the foam was a gooey mess. I replaced it all and the first pics didn't show any light leaks. Here are a couple of pictures from my first roll.

That little hexanons are capable lenses. I love C35 EF3 - lens is sharp enough and contrasty, running on widely available AA batteries.

On foam I can say that I rather prefer gooey foam to woodened foam (seen on 35RC and Yashica 72-E) which is hard to remove even using naphtha-o-matic.
