I just won one for the princely sum of 2.99 GBP.
The plastic leatherette and overall design make it look like a miniature Auto S2, it should be a fully automatic camera but Sylvain Halgand on his site says of the EE-Matic Deluxe

Which I translate as "full automatic switchable to speed priority". Anybody has one?Dans la série de beaux télémétriques de Konica, nous trouvons ce « tout automatique », débrayable en automatique à priorité à l’ouverture.

Nice one. It does remind me of Auto S2. Unfortunately it's not much smaller, either. 136×79×64mm (according to the data online) it's even bigger than Olympus SP!
I notice there're a number of similar models in the EE-MATIC series. Perhaps they sold well in the 60s?

Took quick race around Net and got impression that EE-Matic series served as automatic camera line before C35 were introduced. There were many EE-Matic varieties made by Konica.
When looking at pictures of F model, I see AUTO and B modes on barrel, probably translation from French mentions kind of flashmatic system (which actually adjusts aperture for user, basing on GN and distance).
For that price, it's a deal anyway - roll of film mostly costs more; even if you will not use it daily. Metal bodied message from days of glory of film cameras

Exactly what I think.
And I have a soft spot for Konica lenses, and despite the "snob" factor I don't mind shooting with an EE RF, if its auto mode is any good it lets you concentrate on framing which is something I badly need to do.
Will report back when it arrives, hopefully with some pics.

Agree. 2.99GBP for a solid Konica coming in a fine case like that... it's a good deal!

My KAS2 came without lens cap (push-on type, because of lens hood). Getting that separately would cost me same, or maybe more!

I have an EE Matic (not Deluxe, not F) and I don't see how a manual mode could be possible (except by using the flash setting). Speed (shutter) priority would imply that the user can somehow set the shutter speed but I don't find that on my copy. Must be an error on Sylvain's site (or another variant?).
I'm going to try and use my copy for the first time this week but I think the meter might be dead so maybe I'm stuck with the flash mode as the only option.
