Konica EYE

Anyone familiar with this rangefinder?

I'm getting one in the mail in a few days, with a fast Hexanon 30mm f1.9 lens, and just wondered what other's experiences with this model have been.

I think EYE line were all scale focus cameras?
Don't have one but I think it's very good in it's class. Konica didn't make crap.

Yes, you're right, it is scale focus. I received it, and it's a nicely-built unit - I had originally wanted to buy a Fed Micron (which was a clone of the Konica Eye) but this one was too good to let go.

My original motivation was to "harvest" the lens and mount it on a micro4/3 mount - it's a nice 30/1.9 pancake. It's just so nice that I'm debating whether to just let it find a home as a full camera rather than performning surgery, or to sharpen my scalpel!
