Konica I Photos. up, Hexanon 2.8f 50mm

Hi Konica and RF fans,

Got this film back today. The first roll with my old Konica I. I had a little beginners trouble with the camera because I didn't notice the film wasn't advancing when I thought I was winding on. Duh! Then some time passed before I had shot the whole roll and metered for 200 speed film when it was loaded with 100. Anyway this old camera is a blast to shoot with, it is compact, handles well, has a good and accurate coupled rangefinder. Try one if you get the chance.

The first picture is at least a triple exposure. Softail with springer fork. I kind of like this picure anyway.

The second was after I discovered I wasn't advancing properly

The third is our house about 2 weeks ago.

My dad bought one (1:3.5 lens) new in 1950 or 1951. It was the first adjustable camera I ever used. I still have it and really like the photos from it. An overlooked treasure.

You can't complain about the results. I agree using oldies is a blast and they continually surprise me that they can still produce a good photo even by today's standards. Enjoy it and use the heck out of it.

Really a great camera, simple but beautifully made. Mine has an extremely clear rangefinder and the Konirapid shutter is as accurate as the day it was made. Mine has the 50/2.8 Hexar.

Picasso's Harley

Thanks for the comments everyone, and since Pitxu mentioned it, I adjusted the image of the Picasso Harley a little with a Canon utility that came with a digital (shhh) Canon Elph. Darkened it a little to help with the blowout from multiple exposure and tweaked up the contrast just a little.

Must have been from Picasso's "blue period" I think.
