Konica III - hood removal

Hello,

I am the pleased owner of a Konica III, but I have a question; I was lucky enough to find a nice large hood for it in 35.5mm, but it is of course aluminum, and tends, when removed, to want to take the front of the lens off with it. I am planning to very carefully wipe a tiny amount of molybdenum disulfide on the threads of the hood and buff it in, but I just wondered; does anyone have any other techniques for easier hood removal?

RFF helped me with this - after I applied tiny bit of graphite powder on threads and worked hood on/off couple of times front element now stays in place.

Superlube, multipurpose - contains Teflon. Only apply very little!
