Konica IIIA...any thoughts or photos?

I photographed family portraits for friends today at no cost. The mom gave me some old equipment her late husband had.

The camera is a totally Mint Kinica IIIA working perfectly. I will use this. It is a very nice camera!

I've done some research, but would like some user comments and photo samples.

Does it look like this? Lens is either 50 or 48 on IIIa I think. Well, if you got one that really works like it should, then you have done well. My IIIa is great to use once I figured out how the aperture and shutter were linked with that funny dial on the lens. Unlike yours, mine needed a big-time CLA before it worked. I have to say the 50mm lens does some pretty weird things flare-wise. It might just be the deficiencies of my particular camera. If you get good images from the camera it is a joy to use otherwise. Congratulations.

I was thinking the IIIa. I've heard that the 50mm is better than the 48mm for sharpness.
I have no experience with these though.

it was my first rangefinder camera 5 years ago, very nice and solid camera with a very good lens!
