I guess, Konica released camera and later realized they had to emphasize wide angle, so they added W to name. Before they had 28W (1990).

i got mine Lexio now for 1 euro+shipping. the seller send it with all papers, so i see its bought in 2001 for 329 "Deutsche Mark" (around 165euro) which was the half of my salary when i was a trainee in that time. its in a used condition with some scratches on the back. it works but with strange reactions when turned on (zooming), the motor is also very lound.
EDIT: I also read that here http://wkoopmans.ca/notebook/?p=5878 that the imagequality and bokeh is not very pleasant. sad for a so featureloaded p&s with wide lens, +1,5EV override, makro- and infinity-mode, but i will give it a try
