Konica M-Hexanon Lens- 50mm f/2

Are there two versions of this lens --one with a collapsible hood and one without ?
I am thinking about buying one here in Japan and the language barrier is an added challenge ....Thanks for your help with this info.

I don't think so - just with the collapsible hood AFAIK.

I didn't even know it had a collapsible hood! 😱 My Hexanon 35 has an add-on hood that looks really good though.

I've the 50, 35, and the 28. Only the 50 has a built-in hood.

My 50 has the built-in hood also. AFAIK, that's the only way they come.

Thanks for the info --I went out in search of one today in Hiroshima city and to my surprise I found one new in a box for a really good price ...... lens hood included : )

The 50/2 has a built-in collapsible hood. Perhaps you were thinking of the special edition 50/1.2 (don't know what kind of hood it has)?

Just for the record, the 90 also has a built in hood.
