I'm considering placing a bid on a Konica Minolta Revio Z3 on ebay, but can't seem to find many user reviews on this camera. Has anyone used this camera, and if so, what are your impressions of it?

Why? It is a low-end model. Optics are cheap. Small 4MP sensor. Not well built. It does its job.
Here are reviews:

That's not at all the same camera. The one I am looking at is a 35mm APS.

Konica Minolta never released an APS camera nor a 35mm film camera.
I believe that is a Konica model. It is also APS. Not 35mm. Why do you want to use APS film? There probably not many reviews as it was not a particularly special camera--just for the average snapshooter.

Not so much for me, but for my technophobic wife. Why do you want to use APS film? There probably not many reviews as it was not a particularly special camera--just for the average snapshooter.

I am not sure I would go with APS (Antique Photo System) just for film availability. You should be able to find some nice automated 35mm compacts secondhand.

Hmmm. I can't speak for the Z3 but I've a Z2 in what I pass off as the collection.
Being APS and not 35mm they often turn up for a pound or two in charity (thrift) shops and so I would not bother bidding for one but would just wait for one that's dirt cheap.
There's a few APS cameras that are worth having if only for the size to performance ratio*. My Z2 is a neat little camera about 3¾" x 2¼" x 1¼" with a x2 zoom lens, focus lock and centre weighted. It's a pure P&S but you can give it +1½ stops for back-lit subjects or snow and there's an infinity lock for shooting landscapes or through glass.
Mine came with the box, packing, leather(?) case, instructions and strap for a few coins. And it has a metal body, shutter speeds of 2 to 1/500 and all the usual flash options and data back options. Plus a self timer and an optional remote control.
BTW, it takes very nice pictures too and I've no problems buying film** or getting it D & P or scanned.
I hope this helps. I prefer it to the equivalent "iconic" Canon offering.
Regards, David
* Kodak T550 and Minolta Vectis S-1 (an SLR) come to mind.
** Colour negative film only, alas.
