The rangefinder on my Konica Pearl I has gone out of alignment. It was OK when purchased a few month ago and I can manage mostly with zone focus, but it would be nice to get this back in sync. Since this is the uncoupled RF model I am guessing it wouldn't be too difficult to fix. Anyone have any suggestion on how to go about that? I don't think it would be worthwhile for me to send this out for repair and am hoping someone knows what it would take for a do it yourself job.

BTW, the photos from this camera really wowed me.

Hi jamin, I just stumbled onto this, I know its many years old, but if you still are looking for a fix, I have a Pearl III and the rangefinder adjustment screw is under the film type plate, I think on yours it may be under the distance scale. I adjusted mine and it was great for a while and then came out of adjustment again. I think maybe a dab of fingernail polish to lock the screw once you have it adjusted would be good.
