Hi Folks
I am making a (hopefully) good S2 out of two.
one of the problem of the working S2 is a broken glass element of the viewfinder.
I want to switch the elements but of course they are stuck.
Do you know how I can dissolve the glue?
I have tried acetone and Nafta.
Another question:
Do you think the front optical blocks of lenses can be switched without any impact on image quality or were they adjusted individually?
Thanks!

I use pure acetone to help remove the glass. I keep it wet with acetone while I use an xacto knife to cut around it.
I've switched the front lens group without problem.
