Just went through the review by dpr... Some of the highlights that impressed me from the angle of street photography:

- Very compact, light.

- Perfectly usable ISO 6400! (Finally the m43 too appropriated it as standard.. Solms?!?)

- Some real great lenses to be used at full aperture with no concerns (and plausible cost). The Summilux 25/1.4 Asph. is outstanding, the 20/1.7 Lumix and the 12/2 too..

- Tiltable screen; use it waist/hip level like a Rolleiflex.

- First class, fast and reliable AF! (So important if you do not have an optical rangefinder..)

- 5-axis image stabilization! (1/4 sec. for everybody.)

- Ubiquitous adapters for almost any lens existing on the planet...

What would I add to this body to convert it into a lightning fast street machine? Just a detachtable optical finder to match the FL of the lens used; as I would be relying on the AF being accurate & fast and the DOF of a 25mm lens at f5.6 or 8 is miles long..

Bravo Olympus for setting a model for the rest of the industry!

bob best street feature is touch screen that simultaneously focuses and fires shutter on spot you touch! totally unobtrusive, incredibly fast, and so far for me, very accurate.

Very true... I also loved how Olympus engineers employed contrast detect AF and still made it lightning fast like a pro phase detect one.. Probably it's been thru a patented algorithm of some sort. (Any idea of a hidden/secret beam splitter in the body? :D )

I do not own OMD and probably will not in nearest future but I used Mju Metal today. They at Olympus know something about cameras!
