I need some recommendations for my daughter as to where she can bring her 35mm b+w to be processed and scanned at a moderate level? She's in Brooklyn (Crown Hts.) but has easy access to NYC.

I use Luster on Avenue A. LTI at 30th and Madison is also very good, as is Chelsea Photographic Services on 24th near 5th Ave.

I've known Anil since the 1980's when he was a key manager at US Color, a high quality/volume professional film lab that delivered impeccable processing and printing work for commercial clients as well as respected artists through the 1990's. After the demise of e-6 and all film for commercial assignments, Anil opened his own lab on 85 Kenmare St. in Manhattan and now caters to both digital and film needs. This guy knows his stuff and his work is beyond amazing in both mediums.

I'll second the recommendation of Anil from US Color; he and his labs did impeccable work for me and many photographers I knew and worked with from the 90's and early 2000's. I haven't used Bleeker Digital, but I'd trust Anil and folks he employs to do a good job.
